Q.   What is NetGain?

A.   NetGain is a distinctive deposit acquisition program designed to expand existing customer relationships and bring new, profitable customers into the bank through targeted and tailored direct mail executions.
 

Q.   Who receives the mail pieces?

A.   The majority of the mail pieces are sent to targeted prospects in the area surrounding the branches.  Plus, a portion of existing customers who do not already have a checking relationship with the bank are also mailed.  The mail population is determined using advanced segmentation and response models, and the latter are refined using the results of each drop.  
 

Q.   Does everyone receive the same mail piece?

A.   No, the mail pieces are developed to appeal to the needs and attitudes of the Financial Personality® segment members.
 

Q.   How are the segments determined?

A.   The Financial Personality® segmentation system and segment-scoring tools are based on a combination of primary research, marketing data, and demographic data.
 

Q.   Do we have any say in the design of the mail pieces?

A.   Though we like to stick to the formats that have proven themselves in the marketplace and to specific messaging that we know works with the segments, the overall color palate and logos will be specific to your institution.  We like to incorporate any nuances about your organization that might help connect with recipients.  Any insight from your institution is valuable and can be incorporated.
 

Q.   Does an individual need to bring the mailer in to the branch to open an account?

A.   No, the mailer is not required to open one of the accounts featured in the mail piece.
 

Q.   What if an individual does not want to receive future mailings?

A.   If an individual comes into or calls the branch and does not want to receive future mailings, we certainly want to accommodate their request.  Follow the necessary steps to identify them as a “Do Not Solicit” individual.
